Their territory was called Kinel-Fiacha, and extended over the tract now called the barony of Moycashel, with parts of those of Moyashell, Rathcourath, and Fertullagh, in Westmeath, within which they erected various castles, the chief being at Castle-town-Geoghegan near Kil beggan, whose wide site is marked on the Ordnance Survey.
