Meaning: Worn in the Nord department and Belgium is a Walloon shape corresponding to the "val" (or "val"), ie a place name became surname. Note that various common Leval are called, both in Belgium and in the North. Leva is also an Italian surname, driven notably in Piedmont, Liguria and Lombardy, and in the Lazio and Campania (region where we also find the name Di Leva). I do not know the meaning. In Italian the word "up" means "lever", which can easily give birth to a name.
